![]() ![]() The Delta chapter house was built in 1906 and is the oldest TKE chapter house in the world. Later, it would absorb the campus chapters of Sigma Mu Sigma and Sigma Phi Sigma. ![]() The Gamma chapter originated as the Campus Club (local) in 1911. The chapter closed during World War II, but did not lose its charter, and was reactivated in February 1946. The Beta chapter originated as Chi Rho Sigma (local) in 1908. In 1998, the Alpha chapter briefly lost University recognition due to violations of the school's alcohol policy. The chapter ceased operations for three years during World War II, but did not lose its charter. In the spring of 1910, the chapter purchased a house that served as the first fraternity chapter house at Illinois Wesleyan University, which they owned until the fall of 1924. The Greek letter " Eta" was skipped over as a named series.
